Crunch time

Well it's that time of the year again, The end of the semester approaches and the work is piling up. Only two big exam hurdles left:

1. The third lab exam has been moved up to this Tuesday since there was some problem with the frogs for the last lab.

2. The big final exam, which I still don't know the date for yet.

Things are going fairly well, I didn't do too well on the second lab exam, but did alright on the first one and the two lecture exams. Thought the semester is almost over, and it's my last course. Than I probably get a semester off while I go search through the options of what to do next. Or I may go and start on the year I have left in the social DEC I started.

First thing, Get through this semester.

Remind not to get a house with a Chimney either.

You scored as Captain Jack Sparrow. Roguish,quick-witted, and incredibly lucky, Jack Sparrow is a pirate who sometimes ends up being a hero, against his better judgement. Captain Jack looks out for #1, but he can be counted on (usually) to do the right thing. He has an incredibly persuasive tongue, a mind that borders on genius or insanity, and an incredible talent for getting into trouble and getting out of it. Maybe its brains, maybe its genius, or maybe its just plain luck. Or maybe a mixture of all three.

Oh that was fun

I dislike Tuesdays to begin with. Mostly because it's always a long day. A three hour lab and than 8 hours of work

This Tuesday I had a lab exam. And I know I failed it, badly. I forgot about it on the weekend so I didn't actually study than both Monday and Tuesday I was going to bring the manual with me and read it on the bus and before the lab. For got it both days. Honestly I'll be surprised if I get 25% on the test. And I ended up having 45 minutes before the test started to study there.

I came home before I went to work since I finished an hour and a half early. Than I got caught up in stuff and left for work late. Well later than I wanted to. I got to work at 2 when they expected me to show up. I found out that the morning guy had been fired. Well not quite, He's suspended at the moment but there's not much chance he'll be back. He got in a fight with one of the delivery guys, bad Idea.

The most suprising thing is how little it affects my job, thing are still the same mess there were when I show up and he was there. I still spend the first hour or two re-grouping all the morning deliveries. What ever, as long as they don't ask me to work his 9-5 shift. I can't with school. Well I could Monday and Thursday, but that's not helpful. Anyway I left early and found out that the snow from before that I was happy about had changed to rain, I don't like rain that much. Not in the city and not when my slush pants and Storm jacket have gone awall.

Anyway Wendays are an early day class at 8:30. Hopefully not another test I've forgotten about.

Now why does the Spell checker think 'gatmy' should be corrected to 'Satan'?

One of those days

It was one of those weird days today. Not a bad day but things where definitly not normal.
The bio lab went fine, was short and easy, but it was all review stuff from Bio 1. Stuff I really don't remember that well. Neither did my lab partner or anyone else in the lab.

When I got to work I found out that the janitor had died of a heart attack in the caf this morning. Made for a slow day at work especially when the network goes down for 30 minutes at a time.

Life goes on, Handed in a bunch of the homework I've had to work on last week. Still more due end of next week. Assuming that goes well, I'm on track to get my Dec in January.

The Unhappy I

I am most annoyed. Really, Really annoyed over the first two days of this week

Monday started off fine, than I got to work and things went down hill. Turns out that there were a bunch of people absent, and half of the people who were there were still working on the stuff they been sitting there for weeks. So need less to say things were busy, than the 3-11 guy walk in early and I'm told I have stay later, I hadn't even got a chance to say that I need ed to leave early, so much for the ritual that night, than the other evening receiver doesn't come in. Need less to say that it was a long night. I got home around 11: 30 and went pretty much straight to bed.

This morning I woke up to find that there was no power and I had no idea what time it was, made it to class barely on time, the lab went alright. Except for the beginning where they asked for the ESP essay. I knew there was something important I was supposed to do Sunday, not that it mattered with no power to print it. So I called work and told them I wouldn't be in as I was stuck with school. Which I was, since this one can't be handed in late.

I'm more worried that they will assume I missed today because I was forced to work late last night, than I am up set about missing work today.

Just a very annoying star to the week is what it was.
